Cookie policy
Last updated 2 October 2026.
The short version
Ridebench only uses cookies and browser storage that are strictly necessary for the site to work, or that remember a choice you made. We don't use analytics, advertising, social-media or other tracking cookies, and no third party sets cookies through our pages. Strictly necessary storage doesn't need your consent under EU/UK law (ePrivacy Directive Art. 5(3)). That is why the cookie notice only informs you and has no "accept" or "reject" choice. If we ever add optional cookies, we will ask for your consent before setting them.

Third-party content
Some vehicle photos load directly from Wikimedia Commons. We load them without cookies or a referrer, so Wikimedia can't set or read cookies through Ridebench or see which page you were on. It does still see your IP address, as with any web request. If you're signed in with Google, Facebook or Apple, your profile photo loads from that provider, under its own privacy and cookie policies.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you block the cookies above, you won't be able to sign in, but browsing and comparing will still work.
